Do you take my insurance?
We do not accept insurance. However, we are happy to prepare a super bill (a thorough invoice) for you to present to your insurance company for possible reimbursement depending upon their out-of-network policy. We do accept HSA cards.
Do any of your therapists handle drug and alcohol addiction/outpatient rehab?
We do have therapists that will work one on one to assist in addiction recovery. We are not set-up as a recovery out-patient addiction recovery program.
Please check our Services menu and Staff bio page for more information. Our therapists are trained in a variety of research based therapy models including: EMDR, DBT, Attachment Focused Therapy as well as others.
Can your counselors prescribe medication?
Our therapists are not trained to prescribe medication. We recommend you meet with a physician and/or psychiatrist for your medication needs.
Does your counseling practice meet court ordered counseling criteria?
In the unfortunate circumstance of divorce, custody and civil litigation, a client may desire to request our services to assist them in these matters. We are NOT able to make recommendations, testify or get otherwise involved in the legal proceedings. It is an inherent conflict of interest for a treating professional to also offer evaluations and opinions in legal matters.
